Cambodia National Dialogue 2025: Advancing Higher Education through Internationalization and Communication Phnom Penh, Cambodia — November 2025 The National University of Management (NUM), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) and the European Union–funded Erasmus+ UNICATION Project (Unify Communication by International Projects), proudly announces the Cambodia National Dialogue — a two-day conference dedicated to strengthening higher education through internationalization and communication. Taking place on November 17–18, 2025, the dialogue brings together government leaders, higher education executives, and international experts to share insights on the future of education and the role of collaboration in improving institutional quality and communication. The event opens with welcome remarks from: • H.E. Prof. Hor Peng, Rector of NUM • Bettina Jochum, CHAIn Project Coordinator • Natacha Moniz, UNICATION Project Lead • Adrian Jambé, German Embassy to Cambodia • Petronela Burceag, Education and Culture Executive Agency, Brussels These leaders set the stage for cross-regional cooperation between Europe and ASEAN partners under the Erasmus+ framework, highlighting education’s role in sustainable societal development. The dialogue culminates with a Farewell and Closing Ceremony, celebrating shared commitments to innovation, inclusivity, and academic excellence. The Cambodia National Dialogue is a flagship dissemination activity of UNICATION (Unify Communication by International Projects)—an Erasmus+ Capacity Building initiative led by Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal) with partners across Europe and Asia. The project strengthens the competencies of higher education institutions in international project management, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration, with Cambodia and the Philippines as key Asian partners. By convening thought leaders from ministries, universities, and international agencies, the event underlines Cambodia’s growing role in regional higher education transformation and its alignment with ASEAN and EU education cooperation goals.
